NEW YORK, NY: CKR Law LLP, CLC Advisors, LLC and First Point Ventures is pleased to announce the “Women on the Block” Blockchain Conference taking place at the Williamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, May 13, 2018 (Mother’s Day), the start of Blockchain Week.

The full day conference will start with a brunch at 11:00 am with speakers on topics including Blockchain 101, how to launch a blockchain startup or be an investor in one, blockchain and the law, coding and smart contracts, humanitarian and other use cases of blockchain. The conference will also feature a startup showcase, an awards ceremony, possibly a tech program for children and will conclude with a networking cocktail party.

In the spirit of International Women’s Day, all the organizers, speakers and venue provider are volunteering their time and space so as to keep the price of admission tickets reasonable and the conference accessible to all. Any proceeds will be donated to a newly formed CKR Law not-for-profit supporting girls and women in technology.
