New York, NY – CLC Advisors, LLC CEO Cindy Chin was a speaker in final workshop presentation of the Asian Women In Business (AWIB) Workshop Series on Running a Small Business at the Microsoft Offices in New York City on December 4, 2013. She presented alternative funding strategies including crowdfunding for startups and small business entrepreneurs.

The Starting Your Business 101 series is one of AWIB’s most popular workshops and is held every year. It gives a comprehensive overview of all aspects of setting up and managing a business. For those looking to start their own businesses or simply hone their business skills, these workshops will provide them with the basic knowledge and tools they need to be successful. The topics that will be covered during the four-week series are:  “Writing a Business Plan, “Legal Structures, Taxes and Record-keeping”, “Marketing—On and Offline Strategies”, and “Financing Your Business”, respectively.
